Please join us on Sunday, October 25th at Impact HUB Kyoto for a discussion event and fundraising effort aimed to help the Syrian refugee crisis. Guest speakers include Akiko Motoyama, a volunteer who has worked in refugee camps in Jordan and others involved in humanitarian projects in the area. Topics will include an update on the current status of the refugee situation, a timeline of it’s development and how one can help through various aid groups (operating both in and out of Syria). Q & A sessions will accompany each talk followed by breaks for guests to enjoy Syrian food, purchase Syrian crafts made for the relief effort, and a mini-bazaar. Please join us in extending a helping hand, raising awareness and supporting a worthy cause.
PLACE: Impact Hub Kyoto
DATE: Sunday, October 25th, from 2pm – 5pm.
ENTRANCE FEE (which will go to a fund for the refugees): ¥1000 (additional donations welcome, of course). All proceeds will go to help the refugees!
