Please join us on Sunday, October 25th at Impact HUB Kyoto for a discussion event and fundraising effort aimed to help the Syrian refugee crisis.\u00a0<\/span>Guest speakers include Akiko Motoyama, a volunteer who has worked in refugee camps in Jordan and others involved in humanitarian projects in the area. Topics will include<\/span>\u00a0an update on the current status of the refugee situation, a timeline of it’s development and how one can help through various aid groups (operating both in and out of Syria). Q & A sessions will accompany each talk followed by breaks for guests to enjoy Syrian food, purchase Syrian crafts made for the relief effort, and a mini-bazaar. Please join us in extending a helping hand, raising awareness and supporting a worthy cause.<\/span><\/div>\n
